Beech Grove Little League 70th Anniversary Opening Weekend

The BGLL Event Committee and Board of Directors are excited to share opening weekend plans for 2024! We will be kicking off on Friday, April 26th, with continued celebration on Saturday April 27th.

April 26th:
5:30pm - Art Fair
 - Local artisans will be setting up booths around the park, selling handmade goods
 - 70th Anniversary T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the Concession Stand - black and white options and extended sizing available, get yours while they last! 

6:00pm Tee Ball Game - Diamondbacks vs. Yankees
7:30pm Friday Night Lights Majors Game - Teams TBD

April 27th: 
10:00am - Player Parade with special guest, Indianapolis Indians Mascot Rowdie!
 - Bring your candy bags and line the streets to support your players!
 - Parade steps off from the 13th St and Churchman Ave Entrance of Sarah T Bolton Park at 10am. Players will walk east on Churchman and turn south on 9th Ave, continuing to Hartman Park

10:30am - Opening Ceremonies
 - Welcome 
 - Hall of Fame Induction
 - First Pitch

11:30am - Games begin!
There will be a brief break between the ceremonies and beginning of the games for players in the first game to grab a quick bite and say hello to Rowdie! 

The Concession Stand will be open and serving our World Famous Ribeye Sandwiches. There will be photo ops around the park and some other fun activities set up for everyone to enjoy. We hope you and your family can make a day of it!
